The Ants Go Marching
It's Earth Day today. Or was, as today is nearly over. Currently, I'm not happy with "The Earth" because I've got a lovely little army of black ants that found their way from "The Earth" to my kitchen. For one day I was going to suspend my disdain for all things creepy crawly and become one with nature - of course THAT is the day the ants decided to descend upon my kitchen. So, the gig's up. No touchy feely, lovey dovey crap. Ants suck.

Haha! I spent earth day running the washer and dryer all day long because Ashlyn woke up with bug bites all over so I had to wash everyone's bedding in case there was something in the bed! So much for conserving energy and water today! Oh, and I wasted gas driving all over town because just as I got to a doctor's appointment 30 miles from home the school called and said Katie was throwing up so I had to go back to her school to get her!
ReplyDeleteJoy dish soap works like a champ. I use it like a squirt gun and have an similar disdain for the little bugs in my kitchen.
