Didn't We Fire The Tooth Fairy?

Email exchange this morning:

"Dear Tooth Fairy,
Why did you not come to my house last night?  Did you get lost?  Please come soon.
Love, Princess #2"

"Dear Princess #2,
I am so sorry for being so late.  Traffic was really bad.  Please go look under your pillow now and accept my deepest apologies.
Love, The Tooth Fairy"

Oops.

  1. Cute exchange! Even tooth fairies deal with traffic ;-)

  2. LOL!!

I am ashamed to admit that at this point I have forgotten to fulfill my tooth fairy duties more often than I've remembered. (I'll just turn in my mommy card now....)

  3. Oh my biggest fear!!! ok...one of many! My son hasn't lost a tooth yet but I'm so worried I won't remember that the tooth fairy needs to visit.

    Loved the emails :)

  4. Tragically, it seemed like the Tooth Fairy forgot our house one time. Maybe because she was freaking exhausted and fell asleep drooling on the couch. Anyway, to deal with the morning freak-out, I suggested that maybe she couldn't find the tooth because the room was such a mess. That made sense to Cookie, so the next night the room was clean and the Tooth Fairy was able to make an appearance. It was a win all around.
